<text><span class="style1"> valuable tool for corporate Webmasters. Code Police lets you check pages submitted by other people to ensure that they adhere to company guidelines before placing them online.</span><span class="style2"></span><span class="style1">For example, you can use Code Police to make sure that all pages contain the company logo, or HTML code for a specific header, or the proper background color. You can make sure that every page is suffixed with a ".html" or that all images are located inside a specific folder. Code Police gives you a report of all the files that don't measure up. Fix the problems yourself, or send the files with the error report back to the person responsible. Combined with Theseus, Code Police can make your life a lot easier!</span><span class="style2"></span><span class="style1">Code Police has two views. Make your settings in the "Rules Setup" view. Create a new rule and specify the parameters with the popup menus on the right side of the window. Be sure to give each rule a good description, because this is the information that will be printed on the error report.</span><span class="style2"></span><span class="style1">Run the wheel by clicking the "Flag Files" button. When Code Police finishes grinding, you will see a list of all the files it found, along with the rule(s) broken by each file. Double-click the filename to open the file. Double-click the rule number to review the description for that rule. You can save or print the error report, or load the flagged files into the Grinder to do additional work on them.</span><span class="style2"></span><span class="style1">You can also use Code Police to create a manifest of all the files in your site that match certain criteria (e.g., mentioning a person's name, containing a particular image, etc.).</span></text>
